Weekly Menu

We have a deep freeze in the garage. It is a glorious thing that holds many wonders of taste. However, we tend to forget about what we have in there. So, in an effort to be more responsible and use the food we already have, our goal in making this week's menu was to utilize things that were already in the freezer.

Sunday: Lasagna
Monday: Fajitas
Tuesday: Steak with sweet potatoes
Wednesday: Flavored Frozen Chicken (more about this on Wed.)
Thursday: Kielbasa and Potatoes
Friday: Chicken, Bacon Pitas
Saturday: Tacos
Sunday: Hawaiian Grilled Chicken

The only meats we needed to buy this week were the skirt steaks for the fajitas and fresh ground beef for the lasagna. The majority of the grocery run was for maintenance items (milk, yogurt) and fruits/veggies. And to top off the entire run, we saved $24 on bill.

Pictures and recipe for the lasagna for tomorrow.
