It's a start

Welcome to our blog. This is our attempt to lose weight, and get into better shape together. This will follow our goals, our successes, our failures, and our ideas. You'll find our meal plans for each week, our exercise information, and our day-to-day living.


Some general things about us. We've been married for almost a year (October 23rd). That's us in the picture over there, and it sums us up pretty well. We love to goof around, hang out and have fun. We both SCUBA dive, play WoW and work full time. Travel is huge on our list of things we like to do. We are headed to California in a few weeks, and then to Austria and Italy later in October. We're considering it a 2nd honeymoon.



Our goal has been set to lose 20 pounds between the 2 of us by the time we leave for Europe. Since there are approximately 10 weeks until we leave, this equals out to about a pound a week each. We are attempting to keep this low cost, so that anyone could try to replicate it. Our next investments will be in a pair of jump ropes and a new scale. The one we currently have isn't accurate, and since that is a desirable feature in a scale with this project, we will purchase a new one.
